Last1.org Lovable Integration Prompt¶
This document provides instructions for integrating Last1.org (the nonprofit standards body) with the Last1.app certification registry API.
Overview¶
Last1.org is the standards body that governs certification requirements and maintains the official registry of certified organizations. The registry data is sourced from Last1.app's public API.
Key Principle: Last1.org is institutional and standards-focused. It is NOT marketing. The tone must be neutral, governance-oriented, and policy-grade.

-
Filter by state/location
-
Organization List
- Display as a table or card grid
-
Each entry shows:

2. Standards Page (last1.org/standards)¶
Purpose: Document the certification standards and governance.
Required Sections:
- What Certification Means
-
Explains that certification confirms accountability processes, not program quality
-
Certification Status States
- Active: Verification requirements currently met
- Conditional: Verification gaps under review
- Paused: Verification temporarily suspended
-
Revoked: Certification withdrawn
-
Ongoing Verification Requirements
- Legal Status Verification — IRS exempt status validated against public records
- Structural Completeness — Program definitions, staff roles, and domain ownership verified
- Delivery Signal Monitoring — Operational patterns assessed for coherence
- Periodic Review — Certification status reviewed on regular cycle
-
Audit Eligibility — Certified organizations may be selected for random audit
-
Certification May Be Paused or Revoked If:
- Organization loses IRS exempt status
- Fails to maintain structural requirements
- Shows delivery patterns inconsistent with stated operations
-
Is selected for audit and fails review
-
What Certification Does NOT Do
- Endorse mission or leadership
- Guarantee outcomes
- Replace funder due diligence
- Rank organizations
- Serve as marketing approval
3. About Page (last1.org/about)¶
Purpose: Explain the relationship between Last1.org and Last 1 Enterprises, LLC.
Key Points:
- Last1.org is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit standards body
- It defines certification requirements and governs certification states
- It does NOT operate the Last1.app platform (that's Last 1 Enterprises, LLC)
- This separation ensures certification independence
Design Guidelines¶
Color Palette¶
- Primary: Use a neutral, institutional color (navy, dark gray)
- Accents: Minimal - only for status indicators
- Status colors:
- Active:
#16a34a(green) - Conditional:
#d97706(amber) - Paused:
#dc2626(red) - Revoked:
#6b7280(gray)
Typography¶
- Clean, professional fonts (Inter, system fonts)
- No playful or marketing-style typography
- Clear hierarchy: headings, body, labels
Imagery¶
- Minimal or no imagery
- Icons only for functional purposes (status indicators, navigation)
- NO photos of happy people or marketing-style graphics
Tone of Voice¶
DO: - Use neutral, factual language - State what things are, not what they promise - Include disclaimers where appropriate - Reference governance and standards
DO NOT: - Use marketing superlatives ("amazing", "revolutionary") - Make outcome promises - Use testimonials or success stories - Include CTAs like "Get Certified Today!"
API Integration Notes¶
Caching¶
- Cache the registry data for 5-10 minutes
- The data updates when certification states change
lastUpdatedfield indicates freshness
Error Handling¶
- If API unavailable, show: "Registry temporarily unavailable. Please try again later."
- Log errors for monitoring
CORS¶
- The API allows CORS from
last1.orgdomain - Requests should not require authentication
Critical Reminders¶
-
This is NOT a marketing site. It's a standards registry.
-
Include revoked/paused organizations. Hiding failures destroys credibility.
-
Do NOT expose internal scores. Show "High Confidence" or "Standard Confidence", not numeric values.
-
Do NOT show EINs publicly. Only show IRS status (Active 501(c)(3), etc.)
-
Link to Last1.app for full verification. The registry is a summary; full details are on the verification pages.
Certification apply / inquiry pages (required)¶
Use the paste-ready brief: docs/LAST1_ORG_CERTIFICATION_APPLY_PROMPT.md
last1.app now owns the operational apply flow:
- Authenticated apply:
https://last1.app/certification/apply - Public standards (with apply handoff):
https://last1.app/standards/certification - Submitting apply sets org
certification_statetopending_review, clears level/score, and emails the Last1 review inbox - Public verify page and registry require granted standing (not pending)
last1.org must publish clear, non-404 pages that hand off correctly:
/standards and /standards/certification¶
- Explain what certification means (governance tone)
- Include a primary CTA: "Apply in last1.app" →
https://last1.app/certification/apply - Include a secondary CTA: "Organization inquiry" →
/organization-inquiry(or/inquiryif that is the live route)
/organization-inquiry (preferred) and /inquiry / /apply¶
- These routes must render a real inquiry form or a clear redirect to the live inquiry page
- Do not leave empty SPA shells that return 200 with blank content
- Copy should state: Last1.org grants standing after review; last1.app records the application and public verification page
Do not¶
- Claim organizations can self-certify in Org Settings
- Link "Apply for certification" to pricing alone
- Publish a public verification page promise before standing is granted
- Show pending applicants in the registry as certified
Example API Fetch (JavaScript)¶
async function fetchRegistry() {
try {
const response = await fetch('https://last1.app/api/public/registry');
if (!response.ok) throw new Error('Registry unavailable');
const data = await response.json();
return data.organizations;
} catch (error) {
console.error('Failed to fetch registry:', error);
return null;
}
}
async function fetchOrganization(slug) {
try {
const response = await fetch(`https://last1.app/api/public/registry/${slug}`);
if (!response.ok) throw new Error('Organization not found');
return await response.json();
} catch (error) {
console.error('Failed to fetch organization:', error);
return null;
}
}
Summary¶
Last1.org serves as the official registry of record for certified organizations. Its role is to:
- Publish the searchable registry at
/registry - Document certification standards at
/standards - Provide a working organization inquiry / apply handoff (not a blank SPA route)
- Maintain institutional credibility through transparency
The site should feel like visiting a regulatory body's public records: factual, neutral, and authoritative.
Remember: Standards legitimacy, not market legitimacy.
