Public LastVet documentation (`docs.last.vet`)¶

Public, SEO-indexed documentation for veterans, providers, partners, and App Store reviewers. This site is not auth-gated. It lives in the lastvet-gates repo under external-docs/.

Internal engineering wiki: internal-docs.last1.enterprises (separate repo, Cloudflare Access required).

Local development¶

Adding content¶

Add or edit markdown under content/ with required frontmatter (see below).
Run validation and strict build locally.
Open a PR against main.
WSGR review required before merge for any substantive external content (legal, medical, privacy, or compliance claims).
Merge to main triggers deploy to Cloudflare Pages project lastvet-docs.

Do not include internal-wiki fields (entity, tags, supersedes, sync metadata, etc.). The validator blocks them.

Content rules¶

Audience: external. Write for veterans, providers, and partners.
No PHI, no security implementation details, no internal references.
Do not copy internal wiki pages verbatim; rewrite for the external audience.
Placeholder-only content is acceptable until WSGR returns feedback on Terms/Privacy and Ryan authors Phase 4b content.

DNS (Ryan)¶

CNAME record:

Cloudflare proxy may be enabled for the docs hostname (unlike api.last.vet, which is DNS-only to the ALB).

Analytics¶

Enable Cloudflare Web Analytics on the lastvet-docs Pages project (privacy-preserving, no cookies). No third-party analytics SDKs.

Phase 4b (content authoring)¶

Infrastructure in this directory is complete. Real external content is authored after WSGR feedback on live Terms/Privacy. Until then, section pages remain professional placeholders.
