Quick Reference

Task Command
Bump patch (1.0.0 -> 1.0.1) npm run version:patch
Bump minor (1.0.0 -> 1.1.0) npm run version:minor
Bump major (1.0.0 -> 2.0.0) npm run version:major
Open iOS workspace npm run ios:xcode
Build iOS simulator npm run ios:sim:build

Source of Truth

  • package.json -> version
  • iOS Info.plist -> CFBundleShortVersionString, CFBundleVersion

When shipping a release, keep these values aligned.

Release Workflow

  1. Bump app version (npm run version:patch or minor/major).
  2. Commit release changes.
  3. Build iOS archive in Xcode and distribute via TestFlight/App Store Connect.
  4. Promote from internal -> beta -> production.

Notes

  • This project does not use an OTA update channel.
  • Every production change is delivered through native store releases.
