Linked Auth Providers¶
Linked providers are sign-in methods (Google, Microsoft, ID.me, email) that users connect to their Last1 ID. They are authentication methods only—they do not own the identity.
Supported Providers¶
| Provider | Status | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Wired | Supabase email/password | |
| Wired | Supabase Google OAuth | |
| Microsoft | Requires config | Enable in Supabase Dashboard → Authentication → Providers |
| ID.me | Requires config | Enable in Supabase Dashboard → Authentication → Providers |
Enabling Microsoft and ID.me¶
- Open Supabase Dashboard → your project → Authentication → Providers
- Microsoft: Enable "Microsoft", add Azure AD Application (client) ID and secret
- ID.me: Enable "ID.me" (or add as custom OAuth provider if available), add client ID and secret
Once configured, users can sign in with these providers. The linked-providers page will show them as "Linked" when used, and users can unlink (if at least one other method remains).
Unlink Behavior¶
- Unlink removes the provider from
linked_auth_providers - User must keep at least one sign-in method
- Supabase Auth may still have the provider linked; user can re-link on next sign-in
